Pearl's Project

In June 2018, a malnourished, neglected, dying dog made her way to Griffin K-9 Rescue. She had lived her life at the end of a chain until a good Samaritan found her walking down the road with that chain embedded in her neck. Despite all of our efforts, we couldn't save Pearl. After two weeks of loving on our sweet girl we had to say goodbye. Pearl died because of the neglect she faced living at the end of her chain. Since her death, Griffin K-9 Rescue has made it their mission to educate the community about the importance of not chaining up dogs by starting Pearl's Project. This program provides education for families about the importance of unchaining their dog as well as provides that dog with a kennel, dog house, and straw. If you are aware of a family that is in need of assistance from Pearl's Project please fill out the contact form below.
If you are interested in helping with Pearl's Project you can do so in a variety of ways! You can sponsor a kennel for $600. A kennel sponsorship includes a new 10 by 20 kennel, dog house, tarp cover, kennel care for the ground, and your name on the kennel plaque. We also accept used kennels and dog houses that are in good condition. You can also volunteer for kennel building days! If you would like to sponsor a kennel, donate a used kennel or dog house, or volunteer please contact us at pearlsproject74@gmail.com!
